Child and Family Support

  • Collaborative Care: A team-based approach involving specialists from multiple backgrounds to provide well-rounded, supportive care for your child.

  • Introduction to Individual Neurodivergent Profiles: Helping families understand their child’s neurodivergent identity, including strengths, challenges, and practical ways to support development.

  • Executive Functioning Coaching: Guiding children in managing tasks, staying organized, regulating time, and building independence for success at school and home.

  • Social Thinking Support: Instead of focusing on "neurotypical social skills," we explore authentic and individualized approaches to social interaction, empowering children to understand social contexts and make their own choices about when to adapt (not mask) behaviors.

School Support

Children Arriving at School
  • Advocacy: Helping families advocate for appropriate educational support, ensuring schools recognize and meet the child’s unique needs.

  • Psychoeducational Evaluations:
In-depth assessments to understand a child's learning style and any cognitive, attentional, or emotional differences that impact academic performance. These are educational-focused evaluations designed to help tailor school support, and they do not result in medical or clinical diagnoses.

  • Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE): Offering a third-party perspective on school evaluations, ensuring children receive appropriate educational services as per the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

  • Neuroaffirming Consultation for Schools: Providing training and consultation to support school staff in understanding neurodivergent needs, strengthening MTSS/RTI/PBIS supports, and using data for educational planning.

Family Mediation and Coaching

Child Daydreaming on Bed
  • Mediation: Providing a facilitative approach to resolving family conflicts, including disputes around parenting, IEPs, or other school-related challenges.

  • Parent Coaching: Empowering parents to support their child’s development, build emotional resilience, and navigate challenging behaviors with practical strategies.

Disclaimer: Psychoeducational Evaluations are educationally based. The focus is on educational need, the impact the identified differences have on learning, and environmental fit within the school setting.  They are not the same as a clinical or medical evaluation and will not result in a clinical or medical diagnosis.
